This fanfiction was a crossover between the movies Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory (a mix of both 1971 Gene Wilder version and 2005
Johnny Depp version) and Pinocchio. It focuses most on the storyline of Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory – Charlie finds golden ticket in the snow and gets to
go to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory. However the writer uses Disneys
Pinocchio, who deliberately places the golden ticket in the snow for Charlie to
find and as a result Charlie is cursed with “Pinocchio-syndrome” and isn’t able
to lie without getting caught. This keeps Charlie from breaking tour rules
which he wasn’t able to accomplish in the real story.
This fanfiction begins with Alice in hospital with a missing
eye and an injured arm. Unlike the original, this version is a mysterious
horror. Instead of a rabbit introducing Alice into wonderland, it’s a man
instead. The story follows the same idea
of entering a “wonderland” far from reality yet it’s still very different:
instead of falling into a rabbit hole she see’s a flame in the bathroom mirror
of her hospital room. She falls into this mirror and wakes up in Wonderland.
This fanfiction was renamed Red Riding Wolf. It’s an
interesting story because it reminds me of so many other famous storys. First
it follows the storyline of little red riding hood, but instead of Little Red
Riding Hood delivering food to her grandmother, it’s a boy who takes the wolf
on and gets bitten. However the boy then learns that he’s been bitten by a
warewolf and has to deal with the fact that he would transform into a killer
whenever there’s a full moon.
This is an adaptation of Snow White from the villians point
of view. The story is told by Snow Whites step mother who grew jealous of Snow
Whites reputation of being the most beautiful girl in the country. The story is
about the many attempts made by Snow Whites evil stepmother to have her killed
(Most of them failing). However Snow White is never killed and like in the
original is saved by her prince. The evil step mother ends up breaking and
stabbing herself with the mirror on the wall, that continues to state Snow
White as the fairest of them all.
Like the original, this fanfiction is about a Prince testing
a girl to see if she’s a real princess by making her sleep on a mattress on top
of a pea. However in this story, a country girl lies about being a princess so
that the prince would marry her but then realizes that it was the wrong this to
do and admits it in the morning. The story also mentions how karma worked on
the Prince for being shallow and only wanting to marry a princess by his father
adopting a daughter who would then take the throne instead of the selfish
Prince.
